This one is very interesting from the 16TH Century. It can be worked with the rope or cable in one color say gold and the flowers in 3 colors and the small adjacent leaves in green. It would be fine for a pillow edging.

PlateV-4.jpg (373566 bytes)
This lends itself to banded collars and cuffs very well. It can be worked with the cross hatching in one color and the flower's in another color.
