If you have Comments for us we would like to hear from you
1) I have received several emails that appeared to come
from ladydianottos.com. Some from ‘administration’ or ‘acctservices’ and
some from female names. You should know that ‘jwtopp' is the ONLY name you
will ever receive an email from and I do not send e-mail from my Web Site.
I send it from my home addresses only. We have NO account services, or
administration. We NEVER do updates to your accounts and we would NEVER ask you
to log on and verify information. You don’t even need to have an account with
us to place an order. My host provider swears that all information is secure and
encrypted. Like in most sites, however, there are two levels of security. The
first only contains your name, email and possibly address. They say they cannot
get this information, but who knows (I know that PayPal was recently breeched at
this level). The second level contains your payment information and this level
is completely encrypted and inaccessible (I cannot even access this
information). You should also know that we NEVER sell email address and do all
that we can to protect your information. I will not even send you unnecessary
emails; I never do mass emailing; and I do NOT save your email in an address
book.
2) If you receive an email from me (or any other name at
ladydianottos.com) that contains an attachment I would recommend NOT opening it.
Unless you specifically asked me to send you an image of a fan, I would have NO
reason to send you anything in an attachment. I have received return
‘MAILERDAEMON’ emails indicating that an email that appeared to come from me
contained a virus. Of course, I would never send a virus. Obviously someone is
using my email address to do this. It is a common problem; I receive emails all
the time from companies (Paypal, eBay, etc) that obviously did not send them.
There are viruses out there that will pull email addresses from your ‘sent’
folder and your ‘address book’, so if you have MY email saved, you may get
these bad emails that way.
These problems will undoubtedly just get worse as these
people invent new and annoying ways to torment us, so check back here once in
awhile and I will update this with any new information that you may need to
